Scope and company
This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to Academic Manuscript Management, a product of TES MED LINK GmbH. TES MED LINK GmbH develops and publishes the application. Journal editors and their organizations remain in control of the editorial information they enter in the app.
Information handled in the app
Academic Manuscript Management stores the manuscript, author, reviewer, editorial, calendar, page-range, DOI and note information that you enter. This information is stored on your device.
Optional iCloud sync and private team sharing
If you choose to use iCloud sync or private team sharing, your information is stored in your own Apple iCloud account through Apple CloudKit and is shared only with the people you invite. TES MED LINK does not access, collect, read or monitor manuscript contents, author information, reviewer information, editorial notes or your team’s workflow data.
Purchases
The app offers an optional auto-renewable annual subscription. Purchases, trials, billing and payment information are processed by Apple. TES MED LINK does not receive or store payment card information.
No advertising, analytics or generative AI services
The app does not use third-party advertising, behavioural analytics, generative AI or deep-synthesis services.
Retention and deletion
You control the information you enter. You can delete manuscripts, issues and other content in the app. iCloud data can also be managed through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
