This Privacy Policy explains how InkNote, provided by TES MED LINK GmbH (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use the InkNote app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
1. Data stored on your device
InkNote stores your notes, imported documents, scans, audio recordings, transcripts, drawings, planner content, folders, and related app data locally on your device. We do not receive, read, or collect this content.
2. Optional iCloud synchronization
If you enable iCloud sync, InkNote uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize your app data between devices signed in to the same Apple Account. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is handled under Apple’s terms and privacy policy. TES MED LINK GmbH does not have access to the contents of your private iCloud data. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in InkNote settings.
3. Device permissions
InkNote requests access only when needed for features you choose to use:
• Camera access for scanning documents.
• Microphone access for recording audio.
• Speech recognition access for creating transcripts.
• Files and Photos access for importing or exporting documents and images.
You can change these permissions in your device settings.
4. On-device processing
Where supported, InkNote may use Apple’s on-device technologies to improve or organize text. Content processed on-device is not sent to TES MED LINK GmbH.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Apple may provide transaction status and subscription entitlement information required to unlock paid features.
6. Analytics, advertising, and third parties
InkNote does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal data.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your content remains on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account until you delete it. You can delete documents and notes in the app, remove the app from a device, and manage iCloud data through Apple’s settings. Deleting the app from one device does not necessarily delete data stored in iCloud or on another synchronized device.
8. Children
InkNote is a general productivity app and is not designed to collect personal data from children. Because we do not collect app content or user profiles, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when InkNote features or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
